The merchants guild is a business incorporated into the Sea Folk, but not all members have to join it. If you wish to be a merchant, read the qualifications.

Qualifications:

If you feel you are ready to join the merchanting guild, please read these qualifications.

• No lvl requirements, if you are a good merchant, you are a good merchant.
• You must make a cash donation of 2k to enter, this is to supply goods to sell.
• You must give 40% of your profits to the guild bank to buy items to resell for money, you may not like this now but believe me it will increase our moneymaking profits considerably.
• You must never scam. Scammers are idiots who prey on children that play runescape.

Guild Bank:

The guild bank is a lvl 3 runescape character called The Sea Folk. This is where the 40% from merchanting goes and where the items we get go before we sell them. Just post a comment here to put stuff in it and be sure to add it to your friends list next time you're on rs.

Merchanting Ranks:

The ranks for merchants are as follows, highest to the top.

• Master Merchant
• Novice Merchant
• Apprentice Merchant
  Either I or mad will promote you depending on how high your moneymaking abilities are. Salaries are higher for better merchants with higher ranks.
